Hey John Kerry, The Troops Hear You!!!
John Kerry has opened his mouth and exposed himself for who he truly is once again: an ungrateful loser who is against our military, who happen to defend his right to make such pompous lies in public. John Kerry and the Democrats are trying to spin his anti-military comments as part of a botched joke about Bush. In fact he refuses to apologize for his comment and has the nerve to insist that President Bush is the one who should apologize to the troops.
Every time I have heard Bush speak about our military it has been with nothing less than the highest respect. He hasn't called our military ignorant people who couldn't hack academic life. He has never accused our fine military members as rapists or baby killers.
Here is Kerry's "botched joke about President Bush":
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
Notice that there is not a tie in to President Bush in this statement whatsoever. In fact, the statement is made in the second person throughout. There is no way to make a connection to Bush in this statement anywhere.
Not only that, but the statement doesn't make any sense, at least not for today's military. It might apply to our military at the time Kerry was in. Kerry was in a military at a time when this country still had a draft, and people were conscripted against their will. But, even then, I doubt it is fair to call Kerry's fellow troops losers who couldn't hack it in school.
It is also worth noting that even in John Kerry's day, officers had to have a college degree. In today's all volunteer military, not only are officers highly educated, but a great many entlisted troops have, or go on to earn college degrees. So much for our military not being able to hack academic life.
But then, John Kerry knows this. He was an officer himself. He is just a liar who has never had any respect for the military. Not the military he was a part of then, and not the military now. That's it plain and simple.
Our sharp, professional, military members today are not in the military because they aren't smart enough to graduate from anything beyond high school. They have enlisted because they want to serve their country. They have enlisted because they are patriotic.
As much as he and the democrats would have us believe this was meant to refer to Bush's handling of the war in Iraq, sorry no dice. It is clearly a slight aimed at our troops.
This isn't the first time that Kerry has slandered our military. Apart from his shameless lying accusations against his fellow troops in Viet Nam, a post found here reported that Senator "I support our troops" Kerry had this nonsense to say about our troops during an interview in the Sunday edition of CBS's "Face The Nation":
"And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the--of--the historical customs, religious customs."
This is reminiscent of the accusations he made against his fellow troops during the Viet Nam War. Kerry has a history of slandering our troops. That anti-US military history exposes his spin attempt as nothing more than yet one more bald-faced lie coming out of his mouth.
Despite the Democrats who insist upon proclaiming, "how dare you question my patriotism", I am questioning John Kerry's patriotism. He can't have a history of slandering our country's military, the very one's who sacrifice their lives so that he can make such arrogant, slanderous bs, and expect that no one will have the right to call him on it, to question his patriotism. There is no such thing as patriotic immunity.
The more Kerry talks, and the more the Democrats defend, him the better it is for the Republicans. It baffles me why anyone who loves our troops would throw their vote away on the Democrat party.
Thanks to Jay at Stop The ACLU, here is a picture reflecting the military's response to John Kerry:
Yep. That just about says it all.
Vote for Kerry in '08! That is, if you want a Commander in Chief who has no respect for the troops he will command.
