How Dare You Criticize Me For Quoting "Off The Record" Comments That I Happen To Agree With!

Albert Eisele, contributor to Washington D.C. newspaper, "The Hill" is feeling a bit (in the words of Saturday Night Live’s comedian Mike Meyers in his "Coffee Talk" skits: ), "vaclempt" at both Helen Thomas’ offense and e-mails criticizing his "Under the Dome" column quoting Thomas’ opinion regarding Vice President Cheney.

What did press legend, Helen say?

"The day I say Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself. All we need is one more liar." Thomas added, "I think he'd like to run, but it would be a sad day for the country if he does."

Thomas, who has made her mark among the liberal socialists/communists in Washington D.C. by asking the "hard questions" of Presidents, (you know the accusatory kind designed to wait and hope for a misspeak answer from the President, usually a conservative, to exploit), is upset because her hateful answer to journalist Eisele was actually printed.

Wow. Helen is upset because her hateful remark has been broadcast in print and the Internet?

I guess the take away for us is that she loves to dish it out but can’t take it.

Helen would like us to see her as a journalist who is saving the public from the corrupt Presidents who are governing us. Heaven forbid we get an accidental glimpse at her liberal, "hate the Bush Administration" agenda.

According to Helen, "because we all say stuff we don’t want printed."

What a cop out!

One thing is for certain, it is now apparent that Helen Thomas is a hypocritical coward. She has made her career out of harassing American Presidents with questions designed to trip them up and produce embarrassing answers.

Yet, Helen believes very strongly that her embarrassing opinions should be exempt from media attention.

In other words, Helen doesn’t stand behind her opinion.

Mr. Eisele, in his article here, is not yet ready to apologize to Helen for his inclusion of her quote in his column. He is in fact upset with e-mails that criticize his column, and especially at Matt Drudge for broadcasting Helen’s complaint across the Internet.

I suspect that Eisele’s intent was to re-enforce Thomas’ anti-Bush Administration point, because he himself is a liberal who is stomping mad that his ilk aren’t running the country right now. That anyone, including Helen herself, would dare criticize him is offensive to Eisele.

Nonetheless, while Eisele won’t apologize to Helen Thomas for his use of her controversial quote, he can’t resist "kissing her ass" after lambasting a critic of his:

"Anyway, having unintentionally caused Ms. Thomas considerable pain, I wish to rise to her defense. Thomas is a great journalist, the first lady of the White House press corps, who has blazed a trail for women journalists and has been doing for decades what White House reporters are supposed to do but too often don’t, which is to ask tough questions of presidents."

Who’s the snake here? Eisele or Thomas? Helen is a hypocrite who will say one thing and do quite another when it is convenient. Eisele will call her out for it, then defend her when it comes to covering his own journalistic ass.

I say that we can do without the both of them. Bush was right in moving Helen’s place at press conferences from front row to back row. Now it is time for the rest of us to move her to the back row of our attention. Let’s not forget to save a seat in that back row for Albert Eisele.

...anything you say can and will be used against you......

Isn't it funny how people react when the accusing finger is pointed at them instead of them doing the pointing? If she didn't want to see it in print she should have kept her big fat mouth shut.

If ya can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
