Cheap Labor???

A good friend of mine sent this to me via e-mail. This illustrates clearly the lie behind the liberal notion that illegal aliens provide "cheap labor" and are willing to do the jobs that Americans are unwilling to do.

I'll admit the liberal spin sounds so enticing. However, like with everything else they proclaim, once it is submitted to closer scrutiny, their claims turn out to be disengenous spin aimed at fooling people incapable of critical thinking.

So, if you are one of those who still the think the liberal defense of the poor, innocent, undocumented workers rings true, consider this:

The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie.

There is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal Mexican who sneaks in here with his wife and five children. He takes a job for five or six dollars an hour. At that wage with six dependents he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent, food stamps, and free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school, and require bilingual teachers and books that taxpayers provide.

He doesn't have to worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins, and printed material.

He cannot be fired, harassed, or sued.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20 to $30 an hour in benefits, while working Americans are lucky to have $5 or $6 an hour left after paying their bills and his, and paying for increased crime, graffiti, and trash cleanup.

Cheap labor? Let's think that through again !!!

Of course, just like the lazy scoundrels in our society who claim to be infinitly vicitmized when asked to do their part, I'm sure there are those from both the illegal alien camp and their foolish defenders who consider any attempt to stop these criminals from living off the fat of the land at the American tax payer's expense a blatant act of mean spirited racism.

To those charlatans I say, bring it on! I am well aware of what words mean and I am in no way going to let them get away with deceitful misuse of a word's meaning to prop up their immoral position.
